Clew Strap Velcro 3/4" (polyester webbing)

A Mainsail Velcro Clew Strap is used to attach the clew of the mainsail to the boom, providing a secure and quick connection. It's also used at reef points and wherever non-fastener holding is desired. These straps are stronger and safer than traditional clew slugs because they wrap around the entire boom, distributing the load and providing a more robust connection. 

• Construction:

  A clew strap typically uses tubular polyester webbing with hook and loop webbing (Velcro) to wrap around the boom and through the clew of the sail.
